THE NEW HOPE PANTRY FOR COMMUNITIES

WHERE: on the lower floor of the Riverside Grange at 8 Batten Road, West Topsham Village

WHEN: Monday 10-noon, Wednesday 5-7pm, Saturday 9-noon

(we are working hard to expand our hours, please check back here from time to time!)

WHAT: free food staples, non-perishables, fresh local vegetables, personal care products

(we are also working hard to expand our offerings)

WHO: ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

The only questions we will ever ask are ones that help us better support you.

WANT TO DONATE? HERE IS WHAT WE CAN RECEIVE:

  • non-perishable food in good condition (clean can, no dents or rust, packaging without tears or holes, within use-by date)

  • MONEY! Cash donations help us purchase food at a deep deep discount through the VT Food Bank- and donations are tax-exempt thanks to our partnership with Friends of Topsham, a registered 501c3 charitable organization. Contact meganeclark@gmail.com to make a financial contribution.

  • personal care products: toilet paper, shampoo, soap, dish soap, feminine hygiene products, dental care products, incontinence products, skincare products (vaseline, lip balm, unscented lotions) basic first aid (bandaids, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol wipes, antibacterial creams, anti-itch creams), dry shampoo, dry body-wash foams, etc.

  • Miscellaneous: countertop applicances clean and in excellent working condition (crock-pots, microwaves, instapots), winter coats new or cleaned and in excellent condition, hats and gloves/mittens new or cleaned and in excellent condition, blankets and sleeping bags new or cleaned and in excellent condition.
