TOPSHAM BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Monday, February 7, 2022

Present: Donna Otterman (Budget Committee Member), Larry Hart, Carl Hildebrandt, Jim Bulger, Brad Calhoun & Tom Otterman (Select Board), Cindy Flannigan (Treasurer), via Team Meeting-Janice Emerson (Budget Committee Chair)

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM.

Motion was made by Tom Otterman and seconded by Brad Calhoun to approve minutes of December 13, 2021. Passed unanimously.

Budget Items Discussed:

Revenue

Highway State Aid $157,000

Road Maintenance

Salt $35,000.00 (Increased $5,000)

Sand $35,000.00 (Increased $5,000)

Paving $133,500.00 (Increased $33,500)

Budget was finalized and approved with a recommended budget of $718,400.00 to be raised by taxes to pay the expenses for the town for the ensuing year.

Motion was made by Carl Hildebrandt and seconded by Brad Calhoun to adjourn meeting.
