Meeting called to order at 7:04 pm.
Motion made by Brad Calhoun and seconded by Carl Hildebrandt to approve minutes from meeting of June 14, 2021. Passed unanimously.

HIGHWAY
Road Report – Guy Welch updated the Board on roadwork and equipment.
Considerations are being made to purchase a new truck and trade in the red Freightliner. Details on pricing and payments will be discussed at the next meeting.
Garage Site – No new information. Every effort will be made in the future to discuss in detail any progress relative to the garage site.
Tom Otterman expressed concern over the involvement of any members of the selectboard with transactions within the Vance family other than the future town purchase of property. It should be noted that any contact with the Vance family is not as representatives of the Town or selectboard but as individuals. If that contact were to be in an official capacity, then full disclosure to the board would be necessary.
Garage Inspection Report – Will be discussed at the next meeting.
Paving Bids – Two bids were received from Pike Industries at 75.68 per ton and Blaktop at 85.73 per ton. Motion made by Tom Otterman and seconded by Jim Bulger to award the job to Pike Industries. Passed unanimously. Brad Calhoun will notify the bidders of the results.
Roadside Mowing and Brush Cutting Bids – Two bids were received from Murdo Limlaw at $75 per hour and Bruce Limlaw at $69 per hour. Motion made by Jim Bulger and seconded by Carl Hildebrandt to award the job to Bruce Limlaw. Passed unanimously. Guy Welch will notify the bidders of the results.
Hired Trucking – Motion made by Brad Calhoun and seconded by Carl Hildebrandt to increase the pay rate from $75 per hour to $85 per hour. Passed unanimously.
GENERAL
Employee Personnel Policy – will be discussed at the next meeting
Delinquent Dogs – Motion made by Tom Otterman and seconded by Carl Hildebrandt to turn over to Animal Control. Passed unanimously
CORRESPONDENCE
WEC Permit – WEC submitted a request to run new lines on Powder Spring Road. Motion made by Tom Otterman and seconded by Jim Bulger for the Chair to sign. Passed unanimously.
Barre Town Ambulance – The Ambulance service is notifying the Town of a new policy wherein delinquent bills will be sent to a collection agency. A payment plan can also be arranged.
FINANCIAL
The Board reviewed and signed Order #2112 in the amount of $29,177.41 for accounts payable and $4,370.91 for payroll.
